What a lovely Mother's Day gift!

Thank you for sharing your feelings about your childhood. I always hoped it would be magical, but so many times our life didn't go the way I hoped, and I fretted that it would be not magical at all, but horrible.

I love you. Mom

You've evoked a magical childhood. Thank you.
One thing I have always tried to be aware of when dealing with children (my own and others') is "you never know when you're making a memory". I always wanted my children to have happy memories of their childhood, in part because I have so many of mine, and I know they've helped make me the happy person I am today.
