Two photos today, from opposite ends of my life.
This is approximately what my desk has looked like for the last week. The pile of papers is getting bigger, but no more stacked or straightened. I gave a big presentation this morning, which I had been stressing about, but which actually went extremely well. And then I cleaned up my desk right after I took this picture. Ahhhh. Much better.
At the end of my day, I went to a knitting guild meeting. I'm an inconsistent attendee at this guild. I always enjoy it when I go, but not so much that I'm motivated to go every single month. But I'm glad that I went this month - it was a nice, relaxing end to my day. And I got a lot of ooohs and aaahs on my Wanderlust Hoodie-in-progress. Remember this sweater? I'm making good progress, and as I finish each piece, I sew them together and try it on, just to prove to myself that my pattern re-write is still working. It is, and it fits wonderfully so far. One more sleeve and a hood to go. The color is more accurate in the October post. It looks a bit sickly here.
